Two experts, One rider

Body2Bike was born through demand.  Robyn, a therapist, found cyclists coming back with the same complaints every time after riding.  As a bike mechanic, Henk constantly heard cyclist complaining about pain on the bike.

One night working for the Tour de France, the idea was born to combine physical therapy and bike position.  After taking notes on the back of a beer coaster, the fundamentals were laid out and Body2Bike was born.

The basic points we set out: see what the body can and cannot do, look at the person on the bike before, make changes, give exercises to correct, check bike position again, explain what has been done and give the person the time to understand.  We put this into practice and from there, we haven’t stopped growing.

Our bikefit is a unique experience.  Why?  We have excellent coffee!  But really:  we believe it is our double edge approach that makes us so succesful at finding the best position.  Robyn has the knowledge over the body, how it should function and how to correct it. Henk has the knowledge on how to change the bike so you can achieve the postion best for you.

If you had only one person doing this at the same level, a bikefit would take over 4 hours. Henk explains changes with you, while Robyn makes an analysis on the computer. Robyn teaches you your personal exercise program while Henk changes your bike.  Henk uses Robyn's analysis to backup his explanation with pictures of for and after. As you receive a lot of information, Robyn backs it up for you on a CD to watch over and over and …. over at home.
