The hands of the wheel builder
Henk van Lijsdonk has more than 20 years experience in wheel building, for tourist and pro-riders (e.g. Paris - Roubaix).
He specialized in finding the perfect cycling position for every rider. But Henk is truly passionate about tuning bikes with the best wheels for a particular rider. Furthermore, he just loves finding the best and lightest parts around.
Over the years, Henk has attended and participated in numerous tests and testing setups. All of them show that a well built set of wheels with good bearings and a set of low resistance tires can be more important than a better aerodynamic position on the bike.
That is why, apart from the wheels, he chooses to work with the best tires and tubulars. These are, amongst others, Vittoria, Continental, and certainly Dugast (the tubular with the lowest rolling resistance and super fast).
